On 29th October 2015, Borboly Csaba, the rapporteur of the Committee of the Region of the opinion on the EU cooperation framework in youth, presented his document in Brussels at the EU presidency, at the headquarters of the permanent representation of Luxembourg. Information concerning the competences of Harghita County Council in the field of vocational training

According to the strategies, Harghita County Council has competences in the fields of culture, youth and economic development. Borboly Csaba, the president of Harghita County Council continued the consultation work for his opinion on the subject of European cooperation in the youth field (2010-2018). The rapporteur of the Committe of the Regions met politicians and experts in youth fields in Brusseles on 22nd October 2015. Agricultural markets: local governments demand a simpler CAP and review of EU rural development policy

A simpler more flexible Common Agricultural Policy will reduce the impact of the volatility of the market and revitalise rural economies EU local and regional leaders have said. In its report adopted today, the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) welcomed EU plans to reduce the administrative burden of the CAP which it agrees could boost the sector and help redress rural-urban inequality.
