The opinion of the Committee of the Regions on promoting coexistence with conflict species will be prepared by Borboly Csaba\u00a0(CIM)
\n<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Borboly Csaba has proposed the elaboration of an opinion on promoting coexistence with conflict species (e.g. brown bear), which will analyze human-wildlife conflicts within the framework of EU Nature Directives. The\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>proposal\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>was\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>accepted by\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span>unanimous vot<\/span><\/span><\/span>e<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0by the Commission for the Environment, Climate Change and Energy (ENVE) of the Committee in Talin at 4th of July.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Regarding the EU's Action Plan for Nature, People and the Economy one of the actions under the \"political ownership and compliance\" priority area touches upon the challenges arising from the conservation of species and habitats and socio-economic activities, including in particular human-wildlife conflicts. The CoR's opinin will give a special focus to the human-wildlife conflict management at local and regional level that ensures the conservation of endangered species and their habitats and the protection of human life and economic activities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
