Focus on boosting youth employment<\/b><\/p>\n
On 9 July the Committee on Education (SEDEC) elected Csaba Borboly, President of Harghita County Council, as rapporteur of the education.<\/span><\/p>\n After the Covid-19 pandemic, the Commission's recovery strategy will take place on the meeting on 9 July, and will ensure that the EU's digital switchover will be again the building of the youth employment- the sustainable competitiveness , social fairness and resilience are targeted in the program of the european skill agenda- helps to boost youth employment by setting ambitious and quantifiable targets for further training (development of existing skills) and retraining (acquisition of new skills) to be implemented over the next five years.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The aim of Csaba Borboly's report is to formulate proposals in the field of adult education and retraining, which will greatly contribute to the recovery of the economy in the Member States after the pandemic period, considering that the austerity measures in recent months have led to redundancies in several sectors. The report will include proposals to promote the employment of young people and their placement in the labor market, all through adult retraining.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201eThe European Commission shall take steps to ensure the member states and the regions by promoting the education and training system. During this period, the adaptation, restoration and modernization of education systems are key. It is therefore important to ask the European Commission to include digital education in the post-crisis support programs, the acquisition of the necessary equipment and the preparation of such situations in the field.\u201d- highlighted Csaba Borboly<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The president of Harghita County Council explained that every possible step would be taken in the region to support different sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cAs a regional government, we will make every effort to support the economy, tourism, agriculture, save jobs, and create new employment opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n He added that this required the support and attention of the EU: \u201cEU policy needs to put more emphasis on regional differences, especially for less developed regions.
