The I. Sekler Product Conference was organized in Miercurea Ciuc<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
At the conference held in the Marble Hall of Harghita County Council on 13th of March, Mr. Istv\u00e1n M\u00e1rton, the director of the Public Association of Rural Development of Harghita County Council shared with the audience \u2013 more hundred of producers and concerned people - that until now for 424 products\u00a0of 46 producers were given the legal right of using the trademark that is in the propriety of the county council. Mr. J\u00f3zsef Nagy, the vice-president of Covasna County Council remarked that it is a great honor for them to be present at the conference expressing with pleasure the fact that more producers in Covasna county have also obtained the legal use of the local trademark: \u2018Since 2010 this movement\u00a0has been going a long way. It is a great possibility on the ground that the production of each product creates jobs in\u00a0Seklerland\u2019. In addition, according to the vice-president the creation of jobs has to be one of the most important issues aimed by the programme developed in common by the two county\u00a0councils.<\/p>\n
Mr. Csaba Borboly, president of Harghita County Council asserted his point of view that the foundation, the adequate preparation and most of all the fact that everybody should believe in reaching the common objective is the most significant.<\/p>\n
\u2013 We have to try to work together since our purposes are the same: to create jobs and assure a better living for local producers and farmers. Our aim is to offer support in creating a secure living for as many families as possible \u2013 emphasized Mr. Csaba Borboly, president of Harghita County Council.<\/p>\n
During the conference the so-far reached results were presented: today, thanked to the Sekler Product Movement more jobs are created.<\/p>\n
\u2013 We have to encourage each other, to believe in what we do! As the example of the milk processing cooperative in Cristuru Secuiesc shows, people\u2019s faith is strong and their work and perseverance reached its results and successes. Not money is the most important problem and obstacle but there is need for willingness and collaborative spirit \u2013 as Mr. Csaba Borboly asked the people present on the conference, expressing his gratefulness to his colleagues that the independently from political views of the county council, it supports these endeavours. The county council president added that if we have more legal foundation we could do more things toward reaching the set objectives.<\/p>\n
According to Mr. Barna T\u00e1nczos, senator there is need for such a sustainable advocacy that makes the Sekler products accessible not only for local and inland people but also in abroad too.<\/p>\n
\u2013 Sooner or later the local market will not be enough, for the reason why it is important to make possible to reach markets outside Seklerland from the perspective of valorifying the Sekler products.\u2013 asserted the senator.<\/p>\n
On the conference another 21 local producers have obtained the legal right of using the Sekler product trademark for the specified products, among others the history book called \u201eHistory of the Sekler community\u201d (\u2019A sz\u00e9kelys\u00e9g t\u00f6rt\u00e9nete\u2019)<\/i>.<\/p>\n
During the conference presentations were held regarding the realisations of the Sekler Product movement and the valorification possibilities. In this respect it was registered the Cooperative of Sekler Tarditional products having the main objective of offering help in selling the Sekler Products. This initiative is aimed at enhancing\u00a0and developing further the Sekler entrepreneurial spirit, the use and valorification of local endowments.<\/p>\n
