Harghita County Council as partner in the CLEAR EU-funded project participated in the international project meeting on 9th<\/sup> of April in the city of Patra, Greece.<\/p>\n

Taking into consideration the fact that the project will be finished in a half a year, within the framework of the present meeting financial aspects, further plans and activities were discussed and presented. Regarding Harghita County Council\u2019s participation in the project, it is the leader of the group responsible for elaborating the E-book and E-tool kit that will be an electronic informative material for museums, touristic destinations, cultural institutions, as well as for further concerned institutions and\u00a0organizations regarding the promotion methodologies and good practices in the field of European cultural values. The project CLEAR targets the development of collaborations encouraging innovation in the South-East Europe by raising the attention to the possibilities lying in cultural values.<\/p>\n

According to the main aim of the project a network will be developed toward the flow of information and knowledge with the help of marketing and communicational devices. The project contributes to the realization of the possibilities lying in cultural values as physical, economic, spriritual-social as well as socio-cultural accessibilities. From the perspective of tourism in Harghita County there are several cultural values and touristic destinations that owned to the project would be more accessible for tourists taking into account the disadvantaged people, and different social categories\u00a0also. Based on the activities implemented in the project such tourist information flow would be available, which through pilot programs and experiences will be improved by Harghita County Council.<\/p>\n

One of the partners of the project is Harghita County Council, the total budget of the project is 1.565.000 euro, while Harghita County Council received 120 000 euros, the own share being just 2400 euro.<\/p>\n

From Harghita County Mrs. Hanna T\u00f6r\u00f6k, deputy general director and Mrs. \u00c9va Luk\u00e1cs, counsellor have participated in the event and presented the activities of Harghita County Council implemented so far within the project. Before the project is closed several cultural events and professional discussions are planned toward reaching the objectives of the project. In this way the planned events would offer the possibility for disseminating best practices, experiences for cultural and touristic institutions, and specialists in making more efficient the accessibility of touristic destinations and attractions. At the same time, through future press conferences the abovementioned E-book and E-toolkit will be presented, as well as the devices based on touchscreens in order to make the tourists aware of the cultural colour spot of Harghita County.<\/p>\n
