The two artists from HarghitaCounty were selected out from 60 participants preselected at local level. The first location of the travelling exhibition is situated in Valladolid city, Spain. Consequently the travelling exhibition is open since 21<sup>st<\/sup> of June at La Pasi\u00f3n and Calder\u00f3n Theatre exhibition hall of Valladolid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Travelling exhibition will be followed in September and October in Lecce, Italy and after that during November and December it can be visited in Romania too, in Arad city. The artists whose works were selected to be exhibited within this programme, are: Adrian Sandu (Arad, Romania), Joao Pedro Trindade (Aveiro, Portugalia), Rodrigo Malvar (Aveiro, Portugalia), Virgis Ruseckas (Kaunas, Lithuania), Lidia Giusto (Genoa, Italy), M\u00e1rton Ildik\u00f3 (Harghita, Romania), Veres Imola (Harghita, Romania), Marit Roland (Kristiansand, Norway), Annalisa Macagnino (Lecce, Italy), Ulrich Fohler (Linz, Ausztria), Elke Meisinger (Linz, Ausztria), Mark Sengstbratl (Linz, Austria), Radek Kalhous (Pardubice, Czech republic), Ondrej Bachor (Pardubice, Czech Republic), Germ\u00e1n Sinova (Valladolid, Spain), Eduardo Hurtado (Valladolid, Spain) and\u00a0 Zygimantas Augustinas (Vilnius, Lithuania).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The travelling exhibition is an important activity of the CreArt project (Network of Cities for Artistic Creation) since it aims to contribute to the mobility of artists and artistic works on European level.\u00a0 In the following four years the travelling exhibition will be continued by selecting another set of artists from the participating regions of the project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The president of Harghita County Council, Mr. Csaba Borboly appreciates the success of the artists from HarghitaCounty. On 9<sup>th<\/sup> of May 2013 he was asserting that \u201cCongratulations to the two selected artists, I am proud of them since HarghitaCounty demonstrated again that it has a place on the cultural palette of Europe. Besides other European Union projects, we participate in this European project with the aim of enriching our knowledge, learning from other European nations and also in order to introduce the art and artists of HarghitaCounty to Europe.\u00a0 Harghita County Council pays special attention to offer support within the field of culture, while calling the attention on the importance of protecting the traditional, folklore values too. I am convinced that similarly to the Europa Nostra Grand Prize winner, Mrs. Piroska Kov\u00e1cs, the Sekler Gates protector, more and more names of our cultural value-creator fellows will be known on European level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Harghita County Council participates as a partner in the CreArt project selected for EU funds support within the framework of Culture 2007\u20132013 Programme, which project places art and creativity in the centre of its activity. The project coordinator is Municipal Foundation for Culture, the cultural foundation of Valladolid City Council, while other partners are as follows:\u00a0 Municipality of Lecce ( Italy), Commune di Genoa\u00a0 (Italy), Foundation Id11 (Netherlands), Cultural Centre\u00a0 Arad\u00a0 (Romania), \u00a0Municipality of Pardubice (Czech Republic), Vilnius City Hall\u00a0 (Lithuania), \u00a0Municipality of Aveiro (Portugal), Pl.ARTKOMAS (Kaunas, Lithuania), City of Linz (Austria), Municipality of Kristiansand (Norway).
