E-book and E-tool kit elaborated on Harghita County’s cultural values

Harghita County Council promoted the CLEAR international and EU funded project entitled „Cultural values and Leisure Environments Accessible Roundly - for All” at a meeting organized in Miercurea Ciuc on 28th of January. Representatives of cultural institutions and touristic/cultural specialists from Harghita County were participating the meeting organized along with a workshop.
Moreover, the meeting was attended by Ms. Tünde Csata, project manager and general director of Harghita County Council’s Management General Directorate, Ms. Éva Lukács, responsible for communication within the project, Mr. István Dobos, head of department responsible for project implementation within the Programs and Subordinated Institutions General Directorate, as well as further colleagues of the county council. The main objectives, activities, results and outcomes of the project CLEAR were presented, highlighting those project details, which would contribute to the accessibility of Harghita County’s cultural values (CVs) and to the efficiency of future activities.
One of the most interesting part of the meeting was the presentation of the e-book and e-tool kit. The working group responsible for these was coordinated by Harghita County Council. The e-book and e-tool kit are electronic materials providing information on the accessibility and promotion of CVs’ methodology. These e-materials are also offering ideas to decision makers in the efficient promotion of CVs, which can contribute to increase the area’s attractiveness and create jobs as well. The target groups of these materials are museums, touristic destinations, cultural institutions, as well as specialists concerned in this field.
The CLEAR project is aimed at fostering the development of innovation encouraging collaborations in the regions of South-East Europe by calling the attention for the possibilities residing in cultural values, which could increase regions’ attractiveness.  Moreover, the project contributes to drawing the attention on the opportunities lying in culture as phyisical, economic (free and personalized services), intellectual and social, as well as socio-cultural accessibilities.
Based on the abovementioned, the project is very relevant in Harghita County, because it contributes to make the CVs and touristic destination of the region - as for example the Lăzarea Castle, the fortified church in Dârjiu (part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site), the Unitarian church in Inlăceni, and the church and pilgrimage site in Șumuleu Ciuc - more accessible for disabled and foreign visitors as well. On the basis of project activities, Harghita County Council will also place touristic and cultural touchscreen devices in the abovementioned places.
The project partners are Province of Rimini from Italy (Provincia di Rimini), Enaip S. Zavatta Rimini Foundation, Consortium Municipalities of S.Maria di Leuca,  Municipal Enterprise for planning & development from Greece, Social and cultural Council of the Prefecture of Magnesia from Greece, The Centre for Research and technology Hellas, Municipality of Velenje and City Municipality of Kranj from Slovenia, the Hungarian Childrenmedia Association, Vratsa Regional Administration and Varna Regional Administration from Bulgaria, the EU-ART-Network from Austria and Harghita County Council from Romania.
